0.71 Released - Inbox bug fixed

Posted by benbrown 1 year ago

PeoplePods version 0.71 has been released. This version is a maintenance release which fixes a problem with the private messaging inbox. Existing PeoplePods sites can upgrade to the newest version by following the upgrade instructions, or by simply copying the new version of Obj.php into the existing peoplepods/lib directory. Another more substantial upgrade is in the works, which features an improved control center and an expanded plugin system. Download 0.71 here.

Glad to listen this .I just downloaded .

Awesome!

@SebastianWussler
Did you finished installation? Please let me know If you need help to install it .

I fell in love with PeoplePods at the first sight. I should sit, learn, hack around and contribute some themes or pods.
Good job @benbrown!

@mrahfa Thanks!

I'm interested in integrating peoplepods, but I'm curious: I have about 4000 users. Is it possible to prepopulate the user database and have a single signon for both services? I can handle some php programming and some mysql stuff.

With a little basic coding, it's easy to pre-populate the PeoplePods database with data from your old user database. You may also want to link the new PeoplePods accounts to the legacy system - you can do this too, by using the meta field functions.

Must say, this is one hell of an app. Thanks much. Have started working on some new themes. I will freely share. :)

@Rob E Thanks, Rob! Please do share!
