PeoplePods powers MediaBugs.org and the Helsinki Design Lab

Posted by benbrown 1 year ago

April saw the launch of two brand new PeoplePods-powered applications. These new sites use the latest version of PeoplePods - 0.8 - which will be available to download at the end of May. MediaBugs.org uses PeoplePods to enable Bay Area residents to report errors in their local media. The site weaves together several content types to allow for rich, detailed bug reports. It also uses PeoplePod's built-in content querying mechanisms to allow members to track changes to individual bugs as well as tracking bug activity by publication or subject. Helsinki Design Lab is an organization in Finland whose goal is to collect, publish and promote information about the new field of strategic design. PeoplePods powers the site's complex submission process, as well as a suite of backend tools used by the team at HDL to craft their amazing library of case studies. Read more about HDL Read more about MediaBugs PeoplePods 0.8 brings a significantly revised administrative interface, improved tools and methods for building plugin pods, and many new features - including integration with Facebook and Twitter - that make PeoplePods a fantastic tool for building socially connected websites.

Nice showcase of peoplepods-powered applications. :)

Thanks!
