Group Object
Groups can be used to organize people, content and files into logical clusters. Groups have members of varying roles, and each role has specific permissions.
Fields
| id | the unique id of this group |
|---|---|
| groupname | the name of the group |
| description | a description of the group |
| stub | url friendly version of the groupname field |
| type | "public" or "private" |
| userId | pointer to the person record of the person who created the group |
| changeDate | date this file was most recently changed |
| date | date this file was uploaded |
| minutes | minutes since the file was uploaded |
Relationships
$members = $group->members(); $content = $group->content(); $files = $group->files(); $group->addMember($user); $group->removeMember($user); $group->changeMemberType($user,'manager'); $membership_type = $group->isMember($user): $group->addFile($filename,$file); $group->addContent($content); $group->removeContent($content);
And don't forget, every group object inherits all the functions from the $Obj object. These functions include:
- $Group->get()
